2024 Soybean Variety Trials

It’s time to start planning for the 2024 soybean variety trials. These soybean variety demonstrations are done in an effort to provide our growers with variety information that is more comprehensive than what each county can produce individually. To minimize potential herbicide injury, we plan use only XtendFlex varieties this year. If you are interested in participating, find the criteria for participating below:

• A maximum of 2 XtendFlex & maturity groups 4 or 5

• A total of 2 full-sized bags per variety

• All varieties must be Glyphosate tolerant

All plot seed can be dropped off at the Perquimans Cooperative Extension Office, 601-A South Edenton Road Street, Hertford, NC. Please make every effort to have your seed delivered by April 22nd.

We are asking that companies consider a contribution of at least $150 to help support the Northeast Ag Expo team. This money will be used to support county field days, publication of plot results, and supplies needed to enhance plot success and the Northeast Ag Expo when applicable.
